The XM191 is a prototype American rocket launcher.

History

The XM191 was tested during the Vietnam War as a weapon to replace the old M2 flamethrower. It was ultimately not put into service, but the weapon evolved into the M202 FLASH.

Design Details

The weapon's design is largely the same as the M202 that it evolved into.

Ammunition

The weapon could fire HEAT rockets, incendiary rockets filled with napalm or experimental gas rockets which were never fielded.
