An example of a toggle delayed blowback operation

A Toggle lock is a form of locking the bolt. It has been used in various firearms, notably as a form of delayed blowback. Examples are the Schwarzlose machine gun Pedersen rifle, Rheinmetall-Heinemann rifle, Bommarito rifle. Recoil and Gas assisted toggle lock firearms also existed, examples are the Luger P08, Furrer LMG, Maxim gun, Vickers machine gun, Parabellum MG14.
