The Tao (Georgian: ავტომატ ტაო-ს) is a Georgian submachine gun.

The Tao was designed in the early 2000s by Georgian engineers. Initially it was a hand-made gun made from spare parts of existing weapons, however the designers were later employed by a Georgian armory, STC Delta. The Tao is no longer in production.

The Tao is a gas-operated submachine gun. It is a bullpup 9×19mm conversion of the Kalashnikov rifle, with external modifications including a short wooden butt and redesigned handguard. The muzzle has a four-slot compensator. The rear sight is an adjustable diopter sight.
