The Shisei Type Hei is an experimental Japanese automatic rifle.

The Shisei Type Hei was an automatic rifle tested in 1934, but was eventually abandoned in favor of the Type 96 and Type 99 light machine guns; little is known about the weapon other than that.

Design DetailsEdit

The Shisei is stated to be a fully-automatic clone of the Hei rifle, a clone of the Pedersen rifle, despite the image showing what appears to be a unique design. The Shisei uses a 20-round box magazine.
