The rifle is a possible derivative of the TKB-022PM designed by German Korobov, but with a forward ejection tube.

  • The Saritch 308 is featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops II as the "SMR"; while the SMR is a futuristic weapon based on it, it is referred to as the saritch in the game files, showing a linkage.
