The S&T Motiv XK8, also known as the DAR-21 (Daewoo Assault Rifle of the 21st Century) is a Korean prototype assault rifle.

HistoryEdit

The XK8 was created by S&T Motiv, then known as S&T Daewoo, as a potential weapon to replace the storied K2 assault rifle. However, after the ROK-SWC (Republic of Korea Army Special Warfare Command) performed some tests on the weapon, it was rejected and has not mass-produced. In spite of this, S&T Motiv is now offering the rifle for export.

Design DetailsEdit

The XK8 uses similar internals to the K2, except in a bullpup format.
