The RPG-26 was the basis of designs to come, such as the RPG-27 and 28.
Ammunition[]
The RPG-26 uses the PG-26 round, a 72.5mm shaped warhead with jack-knifed fins that unfold after launch. The round has a stated penetration capability in excess of 440 millimeters (17.3 inches) of rolled homogenous armor, 1000 millimeters (39.4 inches) of concrete and 1500 millimeters (59.1 inches) of brick.
Variants[]
A heavier variant of the RPG-26 with a thermobaric warhead, weighing in at 3.5 kilograms (7.72 pounds) and having a reduced range of 115 meters (125.8 yards).
