The Parker Hale Rogun was an experimental shotgun designed and produced by UK-based firearms company Parker Hale Ltd.
The Rogun was designed as a police riot shotgun. The action was unique in that the foreend had to be pumped forward in order to chamber a new round, rather than conventionally being pumped back. When pumping the weapon, the barrel would slide forward also. Since Parker Hale was a major supplier of spare parts for L1A1 SLR rifles for the British Army, the company re-used some parts of the L1A1 for the Rogun, including the synthetic buttstock. The Rogun also had a grip safety. Less than 20 Rogun shotguns are known to currently exist.
