Muzzle (firearm)
From Gunpedia
The muzzle in firearms, is the point on the barrel where the projectile (or in modern firearms, the bullet) emerges after being propelled, or launched, by some form of propellent, or another type of firing mechanism. With older muskets, the wielder would load the projectile and powder through the muzzle; in some modern weapons (such as the mortar) the shell is loaded through the muzzle as well.
