The Hawk MM-1 Portable Multi-Round Projectile Launcher[1] was an American revolving grenade launcher designed by Michael Rogak in 1970 and produced by Hawk Industries Inc. in very limited quantities.

The MM-1 was designed by Michael Rogak during the 1970s, although its design can be traced back to the 1930s with the Manville gas gun, of which the weapon is essentially an upscaled derivative. The weapon features Rogak's button rifling in an attempt to speed up production and lower costs; to produce the weapon, Rogak and numerous other individuals formed Hawk Industries Inc. The weapon is claimed to have been produced in small numbers during the 1980s; the weapon is also alleged to have been used by US Special Forces.[2]
Design Details[]
The MM-1 is a double-action only revolving grenade launcher. Operation is similar to that of the Milkor MGL. The weapon features a twelve-round cylinder which swings out to the side using a pivot, and needs to be wound before the weapon can be fired. The weapon is mainly made out of aluminum.
