HistoryEdit

The weapon was designed in 2008, but was only displayed to the public the following year during IDEX 09.

Design DetailsEdit

The rifle can be disassembled into two parts for easy storage. It is claimed that the weapon is able to fire in extreme weather conditions, from -50℃ (-58℉) to 50℃ (122℉).

VariantsEdit

Mubariz sniper rifle

A lighter version of the Istiglal chambered for the 12.7x108mm cartridge.
