Gunpedia has a ranking system based on the miliary ranking systems of the United states, albeit truncated with its own abbreviations. These ranks are for you to insert into your signature to show others what kind of contributer you are here at Gunpedia.
| Rank | Abreviated | Qualifications |

| Commander in Chief | Pres. | Must be site creator/buraucrat |
| General | Gn. | Must be a site Administrator |
| Colonel | Cl. | Must be user of the month |
| Major | Mj. | Must have over 4 featured articles |
| Captain | Cp. | Must have 2 or more featured articles |
| Lieutenant | Lt. | Must over 100 decent edits on gunpedia |
| Corporal | Co. | Must have 1 featured article |
| Private | Pv. | Must have registered and contributed at least once |
