The GOPAK sniper rifle (ГОПАК, Гвинтiвка Оперативна Портативна на базi АК, , also known as the Gvint i vka Operativna Portativna na baz i AK, Portable AK-patterned rifle) GOPAK-61 or the GOPAK-7.62, is a Ukrainian sniper rifle.
The GOPAK was developed in 2015 by Mayak and shown at a gun fair in 2015 in Russia. A second prototype was later built in 2016 and demonstrated.
Design Details Edit
The GOPAK is essentially an
AKM with the gas system removed and a suppressor attached. This essentially makes it a bolt-action sniper rifle similar to a VKS.
