The Colt Mustang is a semi-automatic pistol, made by Colt. It is chambered in .380 ACP and is based off of the M1911.

The Colt Mustang is a small, lightweight, single-action semi-automatic pistol. It features a 6-round magazine and a 2.75-inch barrel. It features a single action aluminum trigger; the hammer must be cocked to the rear in order to fire the pistol. Once the pistol is fired, the slide cocks the hammer to the rear as it cycles, enabling the pistol to be fired again on the next trigger pull. The ejection port is cut lower to aid in positive ejection of spent casings. The slide is composed of stainless steel, and the receiver is composed of electroless nickeled aluminum. The hammer design is similar to that featured on the Colt Commander M1911.
