The Chaineux revolver was a revolver designed by J. Chaineux of Paris, France.
The revolver is chambered for Lefaucheux pin-fire cartridges, with a right-side loading gate and ejector rod. The cylinder holds twenty rounds of ammunition. It was designed by Parisian gunmaker J. Chaineux in the 1870s. Chaineux also made twelve-shot pinfire revolvers of a similar design, which were considerably more popular because they were more practical.
