The C8 carbine was produced by Colt Canada, formerly known as Diemaco, and is a carbine version of the C7 assault rifle series.

DesignEdit

C8 is equipped with 14.5-inch (M16A1-type) barrel, and M653 M16A1 carbine gun the same, but the distance of 1 to 7 to launch C77 rifle bombs, put the door there is no wind to adjust.

C8 design similar to M4 carbine, appearance and Colt M653 is very similar to the model name M725.

UseEdit

The C8 SFW is one of the Canadian Army's standard rifles.

The UK and Denmark use C8 as the names of L119A1 and Kb M / 96OP, and other forces using C8 include Norwegian special forces and police and Dutch troops.
