King Henry VIII of Englandhad a breech-loading matchlock rifle made for him in the 16th century, which he used for hunting.
The breech block rotates on the left on the hinges, and is loaded with a reloadable iron cartridge. Making it faster and quicker to load than its muzzle loading counterparts.
