The Beretta ARX160 is an assault rifle of Italian origin. It is manufactured by Beretta, and it can accept the commonly-used 5.56 x 45 mm NATO cartridge.

Overview[]

The ARX160 departs from the previously issued Beretta 70/90 weapon system under several points of view. The weapon is composed of two receivers, both manufactured mostly in polymer, and operates through a short-stroke piston system. The ARX160 uses NATO STANAG magazines.

The weapon has many unique features like ambidextrous safeties, magazine catches and charging handle, and the ability to change which side spent casings are ejected. a quick-change barrel can be removed and replaced in seconds without tools, and there are two Picatinny Rails for sights and accessories.

ARX200[]

The Beretta ARX200 is a derivative of the ARX160 modular assault rifle and was introduced in late 2015. it was only available for military and law enforcement use. It is chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO cartridge and operates through a short-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt.
